William Thomas Benson 52 of Dover, Delaware departed this life on Sunday January 15, 2017 at Kent General Hospital peacefully.
Born on September 23, 1964. William was the son of Fannie Mae Robbinson and Milford Hawkins. William was educated in the capital school district system. He was employed at Delaware State University before becoming ill. William was a very outgoing person and loved helping others out when needed.
William leaves cherished memories with two daughters, Iesha Kendrick Benson 25 of New York and Gabriella Benson 22 of Dover, Delaware, two grandchildren Taji Jamaal William Jr 4 months and Aanisha Elizabeth Marie Dupree 17 months two sisters Mary Kilson (Johnny) of Pondtown, Maryland and Evelyn Marie Benson of Dover, Delaware. Three Brothers Harry Benson (Charlotte) of Frederica, Delaware Milford Benson and Joseph Benson (Sharon) all of Dover, Delaware.
William also leaves special memories with Aunt Martha Briddle and a host of aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
William was proceeded in death by his parents Milford Hawkins, Fannie Mae Robbinson and sister Jane Juanita Benson.
