Please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one. During difficult times like this it is so important to comfort and support one another as family and friends (Proverbs 17:17). Life, especially at times like this, cannot help but make us think of the preciousness and fragility of life (James 4:14). God's Word, the Bible can not only comfort us, but also assure us of the marvelous hope ahead (Jeremiah 29:11). Jesus words are written in the Bible where he promises that one day soon he is going to bring back to life all those who have died (John 5:28,29). It means life to us that we have firm faith in this promise (John 11:25). There is no question that death is an "enemy" not only to humans, but also to Almighty God (1 Corinthians 15:26). That is why He promises that He is going to remove forever all the pain, suffering, wickedness, and death that have plagued mankind for thousands of years (Revelation 21:3-5; Isaiah 25:8; Psalm 37:10,11,29). It is with these things gone forever that those who are raised from the dead will enjoy never experiencing ever again on a beautiful paradise earth (Psalm 145:16, 17)! To be a part of such a grand future Almighty God simply wants us to do His Will and be blessed forever (1 John 2:17). In order to know God's Will, He has provided us with His Word, the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). We are encouraged, therefore, to read and meditate on it regularly as we apply its teachings and principles in our daily lives (John 17:3; James 2:26). Please read all these scriptures in your Bible and be comforted by what lies ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
