Obituary for Lori Lynn Williams

Lori Lynn Williams
Lori Lynn Williams of Seaford, Delaware, was born on Thursday, February 10, 1983, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Delaware, to Willie Clifford Fielder, Jr., and the late Lola Mae Williams. Lori’s godmother was Sandra Foster of Preston, Maryland. She departed this life on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Lori received her education at Seaford High School and graduated in 2001. She started working after high school at the Black & Decker Company in Easton, Maryland. She worked various jobs and then pursued her career in nursing at Delaware Technical & Community College in Georgetown, Delaware. She was currently working with Epic Home Health Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse, where she loved taking care of her clients.

She was a loving, caring and compassionate young woman who touched so many lives. She was willing to help everyone. She loved shopping, going out to eat, cooking and watching her favorite shows on television. She was a lover of fashion and purses and jewelry that added an extra “swag” to who she was already. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as attending church.

Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Mae Williams; one aunt, Ruby Cephas; maternal grandparents, Belvert & Magalene Williams; and paternal grandparents, Della & Willie C. Fielder, Sr. She leaves many precious memories with her five siblings, Derrell Williams of Princess Anne, Maryland, Oneka Williams of Smyrna, Georgia, Willie Fielder, III, of Milford, Delaware, Tashanda Griffin of Seaford, Delaware and Yniece Jones of Hurlock, Maryland; her fiancé, Donnie Bolden of Seaford, Delaware; sixteen nieces and nephews, Shanequa Williams of Seaford, Delaware, Dajuan and Davon Matthews of Wilmington, Delaware, Jade Williams of Felton, Delaware, DeAvion, Samori, and Zephan Williams, all of Smyrna, Georgia; Derrell Williams and Zion Williams of Seaford, Delaware; Vashad Whidbee, Anyea Griffin, Patrick Griffin all of Seaford, Delaware, Eletise Mincey and Kyondra King of Lubbock, Texas; Vintea Mincey of Atlanta, Georgia, Joshua Fielder of Orlando, Florida and Imani Fielder of Hagerstown, Maryland. Aunts and uncles left to mourn her loss are: Bishop Chester Friend of Preston, Maryland, Oscar (Brenda) Williams of Oxon Hill, Maryland, Dorsey & Carolyn Fielder of Brooklyn, New York, Jeanette Glasgow of Brooklyn, New York, Sandra (Robert) Morrow-Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas and Joseph Morrow of Denton, Maryland; and a host of cousins and friends. Finally, Lori will be sorely missed by her two dogs, Carmelo Anthony Williams and Mozzi Williams.
